Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of PaperNote (papernote.in), operated by AgenticVerse. By signing in, creating a store or buying notes, you agree to them.

1. What PaperNote is

PaperNote is a direct digital marketplace tool that lets creators sell digital study material and lets buyers purchase it. It is owned and maintained by AgenticVerse, a Micro enterprise registered under MSME (Udyam) (Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-OD-04-0015529) proprietorship of Jagatmohan Padhan, Flat/Door 3, School Area, Dangbahal, Gaisilat, Bargarh, Odisha 768037, India. PaperNote provides the technology only. The notes are created and sold by independent creators. The sale is a contract between the buyer and the creator.

2. Accounts

• You must be 18 or older to open a creator account.
• Sign-in is through Google. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for activity on it.
• Give accurate information, including payout details.

3. Payments

• Buyers pay the creator directly by UPI or bank transfer. PaperNote does not receive, hold or pay out buyer money and charges no commission on sales.
• After paying, the buyer submits the payment reference and screenshot. The creator confirms the payment, after which the download unlocks.
• Orders may also be checked automatically against the screenshot. A check is only an aid: it can be wrong, and a creator can always approve or reject an order manually. Small orders unlock automatically only if the creator has switched this on.
• Creators are responsible for the accuracy of their payout details and for their own taxes, including GST where applicable.

4. Creator subscriptions

• The Free plan has limits on products, storage and monthly checks. Paid plans (Starter, Growth) are billed yearly through Google Play and renew automatically until cancelled in Google Play.
• Prices and limits are shown in the app before purchase. Refunds for subscriptions follow Google Play's policy.
• If a plan ends, your account moves to the Free plan; content above Free limits may be hidden until you upgrade or reduce it.

5. Content rules

You may sell only material you have the right to sell. You must not upload or sell:

• Copied, pirated or resold material you do not own or have a licence for, including paid coaching content or books.
• Leaked exam papers, or anything that helps cheating in an exam.
• Illegal, hateful, obscene, misleading or malware-infected content.

Listings must describe the product honestly. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we act on valid copyright complaints sent to the Grievance Officer.

6. Buyer licence and watermarking

A purchase gives the buyer a personal, non-transferable licence to read the notes for their own study. Resharing, reselling or posting them is not allowed. Downloads may carry the buyer's email on each page so leaked copies can be traced.

7. Disclaimers and liability

• The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee any note's quality, accuracy or exam usefulness; that is the creator's responsibility.
• We are not liable for disputes between buyers and creators, payments sent to a wrong or fraudulent account, or loss caused by third-party services.
• To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (for buyers that is generally nil, since buyers pay creators).

8. Termination

You can stop using PaperNote and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms, fraud, or legal reasons.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bargarh, Odisha, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
